A LESSON OF SLOW DESIGN!

Since the beginning of his studies at the Offenbach University of Art and Design, Sebastian Herkner is interested in mixing traditional craftsmanship and new technologies. He also likes to work on different material and texture and mix colors with great taste. He gets its inspiration in travelling a lot around the world. The collection Caribe, is one example of his talent. Designed for the brand Ames vibrant living, the furnitures collection is made from hand-woven with recycled plastic threads supported by a tubular steel frame. To create this outdoor collection he applied colombian plastic weaving to caribe collection adding its magic touch of pure lines and strong, joyful colors. And last but not least sustainability is behind the whole project. But not only for the material, which are hère recyclable plastic but also about respecting local people rights which product the furnitures.
